OECD corporate recruitment programmes

Internships

To be eligible to apply for an internship at the OECD you must be a full-time student enrolled in a programme related to one of the OECD’s areas of work. Whilst internships are open to undergraduate students, the majority of interns at the OECD are undertaking postgraduate studies.

This two-year Programme provides recent undergraduates who are yet to obtain a Master’s degree with the opportunity to enter into the world of policymaking, research and analysis and work alongside experts in their fields.

OECD-wide roster recruitments

The OECD maintains a roster of suitable candidates for organisation-wide functions. The vacancies are published 2 - 3 times per year. Sign up for job alerts.

Assistants

The Organisation recruits Assistants able to work with ease in English and French. Key tasks may include drafting formal correspondence, helping organise meetings and events, managing calendars, organising business travel and providing assistance on editing and proof reading documents.

Finance and Human Resources positions in Directorates

There are positions in both Finance and HR across all Directorates. Key tasks include providing guidance and advice on financial and/or HR policies and procedures. 
Other finance-related tasks may include monitoring and reporting on expenditures, closing of accounts, assisting in negotiating voluntary contributions. Other HR related tasks may include assisting with corporate HR processes around staff recruitment, on-boarding and performance management as well as day to day staffing HR process related queries and actions.

The Organisation recruits Statisticians capable of using a variety of different statistical software as well as programming competencies. The work of Statisticians covers activities from data collection, data management and analysis, to data visualisation and dissemination.

Staff categories

Staff are recruited to the OECD as one of the following three categories:

Associated Staff

This staff category consists of interns as well as staff on loan to the Organisation.

Internship programme
Official Staff

Official positions are published with fixed term renewable contracts typically between 1 and 2 years. The salaries and benefits applicable to Official staff are specified in the Staff Regulations for Official Staff.

Temporary Staff

Temporary Staff are hired to meet specific short-term staffing needs, with initial appointments typically for 3-6 months, with the possibility of renewal. Salaries and benefits applicable to Temporary Staff are detailed in the Regulations, Rules and Instructions.
