Environmental policy tools and evaluation

23 - 24 June 2022: This two-day workshop aims to discuss the current state of empirical evidence surrounding the consequences of environmental policies on the environment, the economy and social outcomes. The workshop will convene a range of internationally recognised experts to discuss the impacts of environmental policies on innovation and firm productivity, employment, and social outcomes.

5 June 2020 - As governments design stimulus measures for economies hit by the Covid-19 crisis, they should seize the opportunity of historically low oil prices to redirect some of the half a trillion dollars spent annually supporting fossil fuels into sustainable investments including low-carbon energy, according to the OECD and the International Energy Agency (IEA).
