The OECD-Latin America Roundtable on Corporate Governance works to facilitate public and private sector policy dialogue by providing:
The Roundtable was established in April 2000. Its participants include government officials and stakeholders from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Spain and additional OECD countries. In 2017, the Roundtable established a Task Force on Latin American Equity Market Development to review the state of the region’s equity markets and to propose avenues of further research to underpin improvements to their development. UPCOMING: 2022 Meeting of the Latin America Roundtable on Corporate Governance, 6-7 December, 2022 | Lima, Peru | The meeting will discuss sustainability policies and practices for corporate governance in Latin America. It will also serve as a regional consultation for the ongoing review of the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance to discuss key areas including sustainability in the corporate sector, digitalisation, company groups and bondholder rights.
